Team X Fire Places Second at NEPL 7-Man Intermediate

On Sunday, July 10, 2005, X Fire’s 7-man Team took second place at the NEPL (New England Paintball League) tournament held at Cape Cod Paintball in Borne, Mass. The tournament had three divisions, a rookie division which had 14 teams, a novice division which had 24 teams and an intermediate division with 22 teams.

X Fire Placed 6th in the preliminary round of the tournament and moved into the finals with 7 other teams.

In the finals teams played and if they won they played other winning teams. Team X Fire did well advancing and advancing to the last game of the day against First Wave. In the final moments of the game a penalty cost the team a player and the game and First Wave went on to take first place. X Fire took second. Team Outback (from Matt’s Outback in Connecticut) took third and the Kamo Killaz took fourth.
