X FIRE PAINTBALL TEAMS PLAY AT MATT ’S OUTBACK May 22, 2005

X Fire Paintball’s Sponsored teams played in Matt’s Outback Tournament on May 22, 2005 and brought back First Place Honors.

X Fire teams participated in Matt’s Outback 5-person tournament in a field of 16 teams at Coventry , Connecticut on Sunday. Five X Fire teams participated with X Fire Black coming in second in the preliminaries and advancing to the finals.

The finals were a hard fought battle among the top six teams from the preliminaries. There were some fantastic plays including a head-over heels tumble by Mr. Everson as he took out an opponent in the snake and at least one of our players was taken out by friendly fire (Paul can thank Chris for that) – but that sometimes happens in the heat of the moment.

At the end of the day we took home the first place trophies and everyone had a great time. Thanks to Matt’s and all the refs and staff at the event.
