The US Military Academy is hosting another Big Game. This time it is being held on April 4th and 5th, 2009 at the US Military Academy Reservation at West Point, New York.
This spring’s game is based on the World War II Battle of Riva Ridge between American and German/Italian forces when the 10th Mountain Division attacked the Apennines in February, 1945 including an assault on Mount Belvedere which the Americans won but at a heavy cost, 1,000 of the 13,000 soldiers in the division died in the attack.
The West Point Paintball battle will be held at Lake Frederick, which is a part of the US Military Academy Reservation near Central Valley. For those of you who have attended recent West Point Big Games, this is a new location, a little farther west of the locations used in the past few years.
The cost is $50 for the two day game and includes free air/CO2 and free camping. You must use event paint only! For more details go to www.armypaintball.com
The Fall Game at West Point had about 500 players and usually the Spring game is even bigger! So if you want to participate in one of the best scenario games in the country plan on attending.
